It is incredible to see how in such a short time, nature can adapt to the changing of human habits. Hopefully, this is something the world can remember once the pandemic is over, and apply to the ways we think about the environment moving forward.

The Health of Planet Earth and us is more important than anything else. Our beautiful world is trying to tell us to slow down and let the planet breathe a little without all the extra pollution, fast plastic, excess materialism, toxic fake superficialities etc, our Mother Earth is finally healing. People are waking up to what is important. Our health and the health of the planet in 2020 has been a testing time, but it has been heartwarming to see how many have contributed so much to the physical, emotional and psychological damage of the bushfires, floods and now we must all stay strong and resilient against coronavirus.

As humans slow down the pace of economic activity to try and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the natural world, it seems, is breathing a sigh of relief. “it is breathtaking” 

Nature is sending us a message with the coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing climate crisis, according to the UN’s environment chief, Inger Andersen. Andersen said humanity was placing too many pressures on the natural world with damaging consequences, and warned that failing to take care of the planet meant not taking care of ourselves.

 Here is an unexpected positive side effect of the 2020 Corona pandemic, the environment is healthier thanks to less people going out, lower levels of nitrogen dioxide, which mostly comes from vehicle exhausts, and levels of particulate matter coming from road transport and burning fuel, are said to be noticeably reduced across London and there has also been a noticeable reduction in Milan, Rome and Paris. The water flowing through the canals of Venice are clear for the first time in our lifetime. The fish are visible and the swans have returned to the lagoons.

Air pollution over regions in China and Europe has improved as a result. Over China, NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) spotted a significant decrease in pollution between January and February.

Satellite imagery showed a reduction in the levels of nitrogen dioxide – caused by cars, power plants and industrial facilities.

It is also crazy to think that one large cruise ship can emit as much particulate matter as a million cars in a day.

For the health of our environment It really is time to make a change.

This is a realisation – because we are forced to – that there is considerable potential for long term positive change. Through our working practices and lifestyles. This challenges us in the future to think, do we really need to drive our car there or burn fuel for that.

A reduction in air pollution will be beneficial to people in susceptible categories, for example some asthma sufferers as it can reduce the spread of disease. A high level of air pollution exacerbates viral uptake because it inflames and lowers immunity. Agriculture could also get a boost because pollution stunts plant growth. These are positive outcomes from what is a confronting scary time.

A silver lining in this pandemic is being able to slow down appreciate and respect nature and connect more with family.

For that, I am grateful. Some positive actions are to support each other and nurture and cultivate a better world which is founded on community, growth, evolution and wellbeing by staying positive and believing the world will be fine. Throughout this time we need to stay connected through phone calls, messages and lifting each other up in a positive manner. Make conscious purchasing decisions by supporting local, ethical, socially conscious sustainable businesses.

But, how do we impact each other more meaningfully? It’s time to reflect on the life we are living and what sort of positive contribution in our life we are making.

Lets spread love and happiness, stay healthy to save the earth and each other and keep your immune system strong.

Be patient and recognise the positives. Trusting that on the other side good is coming.

Summer 2020 is around the corner.

I would love to share with you my secrets to help you love your body and make you feel the best you can inside and out.

Create a life you love living so much that you don’t feel the need to indulge and eat junk food too many times per week. But I also believe in FUN too…..It is not about will power or deprivation it is ultimately about RESPECTING your body and LOVING it!!! By elevating your health and happiness! I have noticed if I am stressed and not exercising and eating unhealthy food, I feel sad and toxic!!! This ultimately shows on my skin, you know it is a reflection of your overall health. It is the body’s largest organ and it is an elimination organ.
Toxins inside your body can make the skin on the outside of your body look less than beautiful.

Take care and saturate your body with alive organic fruits and vegetables, purified water and a positive mind.
This Summer I want you to be balanced and love your body.

I am also sharing my secrets with you, I have had some support with feeding my body with antioxidant rich foods and non invasive treatments to keep my cellulite and skin tone tight.

 

I have been preparing my body for Summer and bikini weather with the support of a healthy alkaline diet rich in good fats and I feel cleaner eating plant based protein.

My go to dinner is chilli Mexican black bean and pumpkin nachos. YUM!

We visited Bayon Temple, Siem Reap. Cambodia. 😁 When you close your eyes, you can feel the peaceful energy move through you. When you open them, you are mezmorized by the skill, craftsmanship, and determination of the people that created this monument. They all have the same serene smile, with eyes closed, representing the all-knowing state of inner peace, and perhaps even a state of Nirvana….

Angkor Wat is obviously the must do when you go to Cambodia… ✌️You also can’t miss a blessing by a Buddhist monk.
Water blessings are a traditional Cambodian Buddhist practice that dates back to ancient times.

I remember the smoky denseness of the incense and candles, the heavy scent of the sandalwood and lotus blossoms as I sat with my heads bowed.

I remember the twinkle in the monk’s eye and I can still hear the deepness in his voice as he chanted blessings over me, then showered my head with water and lotus petals.

The offering of holy water symbolizes the cultivation of the virtues of calmness, clarity, and purity of our body, speech, and mind. This water symbol reminds us to cleanse ourselves of our attachments and generate generosity, compassion, and wisdom.

Feeling truly blessed right now!! The monk places a lucky string around my left wrist (Female, right wrist for Men)

The string serves a reminder to show compassion to others.

What Does Being Beautiful And Healthy Mean To You?

I really do believe in a healthy body and healthy mind will shine from within and you will be beautiful. The two need to work in unison. Also, being peaceful and getting enough sleep and drinking pure water is the best tip. In Australia I think you’re really lucky to have beautiful beaches, so you jump in the ocean if your skin is bad as salt water and sunshine is extremely healing. That is a beautiful lifestyle.

How Do You Manage Mental Health And Self-Care?

I love to walk for an hour every morning and afternoon. I also love to do Yoga and deep stretching. My diet consists of healthy, mostly Vegetarian/ Vegaquarian food. I avoid all foods that could contribute to both inflammation and bloating. That means no gluten, sugar, processed foods, and no dairy. I am extremely in tune with my body and when I eat bad food I feel bad. I have always craved salt over sugar. I am also fun though. The occasional cocktail or red wine makes me excited. As I have grown up I am more in tune with how my body responds and have become a way of what nourishes it and what trashes it. Diet and meditation help me rebuild my mental health to get through tough times. I have learned that every thought you have affects your reality and only you have control of your mind.

Favourite Holiday Destination, Restaurant, And Book?

DAINTREE RAINFOREST is the most beautiful pristine place in Australia. I have recently finished GISELE BUNDCHEN’S BOOK LESSONS: My path to a meaningful life and I found it so inspiring. I am now currently reading EGGSHELL SKULL. I am loving Italian food at the moment, craving a EUROPEAN HOLIDAY. So CAFE E CUCINA is the next best thing in Melbourne.
